Sloppy Joes

Homemade Sloppy Joes

I was not a fan of sloppy joes growing up because they were always super mushy and made the bread soggy. When my husband told me he loved them I decided to try and create a recipe myself. The sauce turned out delcious and I found that if I use a slanted spoon to scoop the sauce onto bread, they became far less soggy. I am obsessed with making sourdough and I use the sandwich bread I make and essentially make a Manwich.

  1. Instructions

Chop the onions and sauté them in a large skillet.

Mix the sauce together; ketchup, mustard, broth, coconut aminos, ACV, spices.

Add the ground beef with the onions and once they are cooked and halfway, add the sauce.

Once everything is cooked and mixed together, use a saluted spoon to place onto whatever bread, bun etc that you use,

If you don’t make homemade sourdough, I recommend a store bough bread called canyon bakehouse.
