Cheeseburger Potato Casserole

Cheeseburger Potato Casserole

Get all the fun of a cheeseburger but without the refined grains that are in traditional hamburger buns. You can add as much to this as you want. If you are crazy and enjoy pickles, add pickles. I have added bacon to this before and it has been delightful.

Cheeseburger Potato Casserole

You get all of the flavors of a cheeseburger in this one casserole, but without the bun.

  1. Preheat oven to 375 Fahrenheit.

You can utilize a Cast Iron skillet and make this entire recipe in the cast iron.

If you do not have a cast iron, then you can use a regular large skillet and have a separate casserole dish.

Cook your ground beef in the skillet and add your spices, ketchup, mustard and ACV. Mix everything together and once it is cooked, allow toast in the skillet on a low heat setting, or turn off completely.

Peel your potatoes and cut into thin slices.

Arrange your potatoes over your ground beef on the cast iron.

If you are using a casserole dish, transfer your beef to the bottom of the dish and arrange your potatoes on top.

Top potatoes with additional salt and some parsley.

    Cover with shredded cheese.

Add in the broth and bake in the oven for 25- 30 minutes.
